Your Tasks

  • Maintain customer accounts and grow revenue by acquiring new business in their designated region of the Bay area.
  • Customer visits require 50%+ travel monthly.  Face-to-face meetings with top customers and growth opportunities
  • Develop key relationships both internally and externally with customers and suppliers
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts for quarterly review by the Head of Sales North America
  • Work with sales team to meet and exceed established sales goals
  • Research and development – proactive approach determing customer needs, industry standards and trends
  • Communicate new product requirements in order to win new business opportunities
  • Stay current on all ODU product lines, as well as competitor products and strategies
  • CRM used to load updated customer information, leads, opportunities, log sales activities, status updates, etc.

Your Profile

  • BA/BS in Business Preferred.   Engineering Degree a plus
  • 3-5 years of corporate sales experience .  Proven business travel experience in the 50%+ arena
  • Strong experience in connector industry and value-added cable assembly
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics, GP and CRM a plus (or equivalent)
